Last Friday the iSales Academy Ltd team had a brilliant day volunteering at Sunnyside Rural Trust Northchurch site.

Sunnyside is looking for 8 corporate sponsors to build ‘bus stops’ to provide much-needed shelter come rain, snow, or shine, for their volunteers and workers across the Northchurch site. The iSales team was the first to take on this challenge, and what a success it was!

We started the day with a site tour, visiting some of their animals and the beautiful grounds, then got started with the octagonal bus stop, with the help (and guidance) of Chris Luff MBE. Making good progress and having the main structure secured, we paused for a delicious lunch prepared by Sunnyside in their onsite café from their own-grown produce! We then got back to work, completed the roof, added the seating inside, and finished off by painting the bus stop green.

Sunnyside is a local charity and social enterprise offering training and work experience for over 170 vulnerable people. They have sites in Northchurch, Berkhamsted, and Hemel Hempstead with many opportunities to volunteer, sponsor, and support, and are still looking for companies to help with some of the other 7 bus stops. Today the iSales Academy Ltd team are at Watford General Hospital supporting the West Hertfordshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust because it is National Learn at Work Week!

It is also Mental Health Awareness week, so today we are specifically here to promote our popular work/life balance short course which includes Mental Health Awareness.

All our Multiply courses, are excellent for the personal development of your staff , including developing their Maths skills.

Exciting News – Master Digital Skills with our Skills Bootcamps!

#SkillsForLife is helping everyone have the chance to gain the skills they need to get the job they want – in whatever stage of your career, and launching in September we are working with Hertfordshire Futures to provide Skills Bootcamps in Digital across Hertfordshire.

Whether you are employed full-time, part-time, self-employed, unemployed, or returning to work after a break, these skills bootcamps will enhance your digital skills and enable your progression. No previous knowledge or experience is required, all we ask for is a positive attitude to learning and developing your skills.

The courses last up to 16 weeks, giving people the opportunity to build up sector-specific skills and fast-track to an interview with an employer for those that need it, or supporting them to progress in the workplace and utilise the new skills they have developed.

Skills Bootcamps are fully funded for individuals by the Department for Education, with the guarantee of a job interview at the end. Businesses enrolling their employees must only contribute a portion of funding (10% for SMEs, 30% for large employers), while the Department for Education covers the rest!

Congratulations to Ellis for passing his Level 3 Team Leader apprenticeship while working as a Shop Opening Manager at Wenzel’s the Bakers.

Ellis performed very well throughout his apprenticeship, he was always positive and worked hard, and really bought some fun to training. Ellis consistently worked hard to improve his skills and grow his confidence, to become a great manager!

On Friday evening the iSales team and I attended the Biz4Biz awards as finalists, and left as winners!

It was a fantastic evening celebrating local businesses. We feel privileged to have received the “Judges Award” and to be recognised for our contributions to apprenticeships.

Thank you to the team for their continuous hard work, we have achieved so much this year and look forward to what’s next for iSales Academy Ltd!

The team is growing! We are excited to introduce our newest team member, Natasha!

Natasha joins us a Quality Assurance Manager, bringing with her a wealth of experience and a passion for apprenticeships. We couldn’t be happier to have her on board as iSales continues to grow – welcome to the team Tash!

Well done to Ben Wheeler, Business Development Apprentice at UnifyVSN for passing his Level 3 IT Technical Sales Apprenticeship!

Ben worked hard from day, dedicated to learning and developing his skills to become the best. Ben has proved he is a great salesman and has secured a permanent position within his team.

Congratulations Ben, this distinction was very well deserved!

A huge congratulations to Louis Suragh, Technical Services Engineer at Cheeky Munkey Ltd for achieving a distinction grade on his Level 4 Unified Communications Technician apprenticeship.

Louis proved that a combination of hard work and determination to grow and improve is the key to success. Louis has come leaps and bounds from when he first started his apprenticeship, and has become an integral member of the team at Cheeky Munkey.

Congratulations Louis, this distinction was very well deserved!
