In a partnership between the Watford MP, the Watford & West Herts Chamber of Commerce, Wellspring Church and local mental health champion Cllr Rabi Martins (part of One Vision Well Being Initiative), we are on a mission to help train 1000 people in Mental Health First Aid Awareness.

We are proud to be a part of this programme which has been launched by Watford MP, Dean Russell, with the support of the Prime Minister. The mission is to transform the mental health of residents in Watford which has become even more critical since the Covid-19 pandemic. We are qualified to teach this course and provide participants with a Level 1 Mental Health First Aid Awareness qualification.

The training programme covers:
Module 1 – MHFAA Training programme introduction
Module 2 – What is first aid for mental health?
Module 3 – Identifying mental health conditions
Module 4 – Providing advice & starting a conversation
Module 5 – How to recognise and manage stress
Module 6 – Different mental health conditions
