The Government has announced action and funding to make it easier for businesses to get involved. In response to industry feedback, there is a new £7m support fund pilot, additional guidance and more flexible models for running placements. With the first T Levels starting in selected colleges, schools & training providers in 18 months, more businesses need to start working with providers to offer placements now. Industry placements also benefit businesses by helping them spot and nurture talent sooner, and encourage young people to bring their fresh skills and ideas to employers.
